8/31/07-Hatsune Miku V.1 voicebank is first released as the first of Crypton Future's "Character Vocal Series"

10/17/07-Hatsune Miku's popularity begins to skyrocket so fast to the point that Google and Yahoo flagged her name as spam, causing her to disappear temporarily, giving inspiration for the song "Disapearance of Hatsune Miku"

2/24/08-Miku Miku Dance is released, allowing for users of the voicebank to easily make music videos to accompany miku's songs.

7/2/09-Hatsune Miku: Project Diva released.

4/30/10-Hatsune Miku Apppend released, adding different timbers for the voice, such as soft, sweet, dark, vivid, solid, and light.

8/10-Over 22,000 songs made using Hatsune Miku!

1/11-60,000 units of the Miku voicebank sold!

8/31/13-English Voicebank released via digital distribution as part of the Voicaloid 3 version of Miku

9/17- Mandarin Chinese voicebank added, making Miku the first trilingual Vocaloid.

8/9/19-Head of Crypton announced that Miku would no longer be on the Yamaha Vocaloid engine, and would move to the Newtype engine.
